“ Good little bakery near the campsite on LI. They also have some grocery supplies and camping supplies, as they know who their biggest consumer base is. They have some good baked pastries. I recommend the horns they have. Sometimes it is chocolate, raspberry, or almond. All of them are great but it is subject to availability. Egg sandwich is fine but better can be had on LI. Bagels were alright too but again not the best that can be had on LI. Staff there are really friendly, but I didn't have the heart to tell them their coffee is a little weak. ”

“ I visited Nik's nook a couple of weeks ago while visiting family in the area. It's a great little market and deli. They bake their bread daily and make heroes that are big enough to feed three or four people-very generous amount of meat and cheese, top quality, boars head, of course! My kids loved their breakfast sandwiches which they had on bagels, as well as the blueberry muffins. I was happy to see they had black-and-white cookies which you don't get often in California, where I live currently, but they are my favorites and Niks were delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful and a lot of regulars (local neighbors probably) were coming in for their daily coffee and pastry or their lunch. They are located right near a campground and near the water and there were plenty of items for camping, and fishing as well as other convenience store items. I will definitely return when visiting next time... I sure wish we had something like Niks Nook at home! ”

“ Hidden gem near Wading River and Hayden's Orchard for a quick bite. It's a small business deli with some baked goods. All of their sandwiches are very fresh and generous on the deli meat! My turkey club had 3 inches of turkey piled high and looked exactly like the Boar's Head advertisement. No soggy bread, no dripping mayo. Exactly what a deli sandwich should be. There are 2 small tables outside but it is mainly a grab and go. Will be back again! ”

“ Nicks nook is a great place. The people there are always so friendly. I just had them make all the food for my wife's 40th birthday party. The heroes were amazing. His cheesecake is amazing I still can't decide which pie was better peach ,apple cherry or blueberry. all of his bread is so fresh. And best of all his prices are very fair. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody. And you'll be surprised the amount of stuff he has there so we don't have to drive into town all the time. A++++++++ ”

I can't say enough how nice and pleasant they are and the staff. Their food is great portions are awesome . Great Old school deli sandwich's . Places like this are hard to find these days.
